Medical Education
Shionogi Inc. provides funding for continuing medical education that has content applicable to the therapeutic areas in which we focus. We sponsor programs conducted in accordance with the following guidelines:
- AMA Guidelines on Continuing Medical Education
- FDA guidance on Industry Supported Scientific and Educational Activities
- Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Standards for Commercial Support of Educational Programs
- Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals.
Requests for sponsorship should be submitted at least 45 days before a sponsorship is needed. If you would like to request Shionogi Inc. sponsorship for a program, please complete the CME Sponsorship Request Form.
