Deanne Melloy, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Deanne Melloy joined Shionogi Inc. in January 2011 as EVP, Chief Commercial Officer. In April 2011, she was promoted to EVP, Chief Operating Officer and appointed to the board of Shionogi Inc.
Prior to joining Shionogi, Ms. Melloy was Vice President of the General Therapeutics at Sanofi-Aventis. This assignment included P&L responsibility of multiple brands, overseeing the lifecycle management for all U.S. products, and numerous new product launches. Previous experience includes five year at Endo Pharmaceuticals, Ms. Melloy was Vice President of Marketing and responsible for a commercial product portfolio of $1.4B. Ms. Melloy has seven years of pharmaceutical experience with Johnson and Johnson, Ortho Biotech, in the areas of sales and marketing.
Ms. Melloy holds a B.S. from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota.
