Shionogi & Co. Ltd. is a major research-driven pharmaceutical company, with headquarters in Osaka, Japan, and established more than 130 years ago. We are committed to developing breakthrough medicines that help safeguard the health and quality of life of people worldwide, and many innovative therapies arising from Shionogi research and development have been delivered to patients around the globe, including Crestor™ and Doripenem.
Shionogi Inc., based in Florham Park, New Jersey, has fully-integrated capabilities spanning clinical development, regulatory affairs, business development, and commercialization. We are a core component of Shionogi’s globalization strategy – complementing the innovation of our research laboratories in Japan with the ability to independently develop, register, and market our own products in the US.
We already have a substantial US commercial product portfolio, with more than 10 marketed products and over 300 sales representatives. Furthermore, we are intensively pursuing business development opportunities to augment our near-term growth.
